Accessibility statement

Platinum Medical Solutions is committed to making our website usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. We design, build and test to the WCAG 2.1 Level AA standard.

Our commitment

Healthcare carries extra responsibility: the tasks people come to a medical website to complete, finding information, understanding services and getting in touch, must work for everyone. We treat accessibility as a core part of quality, not an afterthought, and we aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

What we've built in

Across every page of this site you'll find:

  • A “Skip to main content” link and consistent, keyboard-operable navigation on every page.
  • Semantic HTML landmarks, a single descriptive <h1> per page and logically nested headings.
  • Text and background colours that meet at least a 4.5:1 contrast ratio (3:1 for large text and interface elements).
  • A visible keyboard focus outline on every interactive element, we never remove focus styling without a clear replacement.
  • Descriptive link text, no bare “click here” or “learn more” on important actions.
  • Meaningful alternative text on informative images, and decorative graphics hidden from assistive technology.
  • Forms with programmatically linked labels, text “Required” markers (not colour or an asterisk alone), specific error messages, and a status message announced to screen readers.
  • Layouts that reflow cleanly at 200% zoom and adapt from large screens down to mobile.
  • Respect for the reduced-motion preference for people who find motion distracting.

How we test

Accessibility isn't a one-time check. We run a recurring testing cadence, and we keep a dated log of what was tested and fixed:

Third-party content

Some experiences may include third-party tools or embeds. Where these fall outside our direct control, we work with vendors to confirm their accessibility and to provide an accessible alternative wherever possible.

Tell us about a barrier

If you encounter any part of this site that is difficult to use, or you need information in a different format, please tell us, we treat accessibility feedback as a priority and will work with you to provide what you need.

When you contact us, it helps to include the page address, a description of the problem and the browser or assistive technology you were using.

This statement reflects our ongoing commitment and is reviewed regularly. It is a practical description of our approach, not legal advice.
